Yeah, it kind of ignores this reality. It is the only flaw in this reasoning but a fairly large one. Edit:- I agree with Food4Thought so 2 flaws .

Yup. "Fool" might be the wrong word. These people have been fed bad information on a consistent basis to the point where it's created an alternate reality for them.

fools implies that they're mentally deficient, which I don't think is a fair assessment. Like the 1930's Germany, these folks are being manipulated.
A lot of Germans knew what they were doing, and didnt ever regret it.
Perhaps their reasoning is worth more consideration than to simply label them mislead or foolish.
How deep into this conversation do you want to go? They hated the Jews, as did a lot of people at that time. The economic fallout from Treaty of Versailles the way they were abandoned by those at the upper echelons makes for some powerful hate. Still, they too were taken in and molded by propaganda.

I have a feeling there is a plan in place for that. With that famous EO, media can seemingly be seized [fox, NY times, Facebook, etc]. When they are seized you can then force them to show anything. You can then force them to play the truth. Probably a long "documentary" on loop with truths so horrific that it will unite us all.
