From my point of view we are in a collapsed nation.

The laws apply and are valid but the people are so very corrupt that nothing matters.

If voting made any real difference— we wouldn’t be allowed to do it.

Case in point: 2020

Looks more and more like the Roman Empire last days.

Trump is Caesar. Cross the fucking rubicon! This country needs a victory!

That'd be the Roman Republic's last days. The Roman Empire was considered started when Octavian defeat Marc Antony in Alexandria

And lasted about another 400 years.

Ah the good old days, back when the constitution was actually a thing.

wait, office, as in presidential office or all government positions? e.g. governors, state of secretaries, etc..?

The text in the 14th amendment says any federal or any state in any civil, executive, legislative, judicial, or military office.

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

problem is China isn’t defined as an enemy.

Iran is. But a really strong argument can be made that corruption in office weakens the country and ipso facto gives aid to ALL our enemies. Especially in so high an office as vp. Making deals with China and Ukraine that have hurt our economy absolutely gives aid to our enemies. Under-equipping our military, spying on the President, participating in meetings meant to weaken an incoming President, etc.

If the Constitution actually mattered there would be a lot of empty seats across the nation on both sides of the aisle. These crooks have been enriching themselves illegally for decades.

I honestly think they are jealous of Trump and the weath he has ammassed through his genius and work ethic, which he has passed on to his children. They hate him for this, sadly, rather than earning respect and weath the honest way.

God will judge eventually. Enjoy it now ... it's going to be a hot one once you leave this earth.

Yes, and I agree... but these corrupt asshoes will just say that aid was given before they were declared an enemy of the US.

Need to focus on corruption charges after Trump wins via 12th amendment!

Biden, God only knows why, is well above the law.

Yes so is espionage, Treason, racketeering, pedophilia, taking bribes. They have broken countless laws, including the Constitution. But with no action, no arrests, it doesn't matter for shit, now does it?

It matters if the citizenry will stand up and defend it. On that day in the near future I'll be the one in the crowd yelling "Citizen's Arre-est! Citizen's Arre-est!"
