Say whatever you want about both men (I personally have a sour taste of Beer Man after Texas) but you have to admit “you people are insane when you have power and I pray to God you people never get in power again” was pretty a bad ass moment.
I refuse to believe someone who is capable of reasoning themselves into such a mindset to write a speech like that, would not also be 100% on board with MAGA/Democrats-are-Evil. For that reason, I will entertain the possibility that he’s on Team Trump, has been since at least the K. Hearing. He may be serving some kind of purpose, in his “traitorous” actions and anti-Trump commentary. The explanation for how this benefits Trump may not be obvious yet, because deceiving the Dems about it is important.
The only alternative is that he doesn’t believe what he said in that moment, is an incredible actor, and is a full-ass robotic career politician who doesn’t have ethics/morals as we know it, and will say or do anything to accomplish their goals (presumably weird and sick)
