It’s okay Sméagol. My first AR. Ruger 556 with GI handguards. When I got it back in July it was the only one I found in stock and that was on line. All local guns shops were stripped bare. I’m happy with it. Now that supply has picked up a bit we’ve (wife and I) have picked up a couple more, both w/free floating guards.
I feel you. My first was a bushmaster patrolman. Same set up, I swapped out for the pic rails. Idk man I can’t get on board with the mloks. Nice looking rifle though fam. Just had to give some shit.
Had the quad pic rails. Too heavy and hard to grip. Mlok with pic rail sections way lighter and smaller circumference. I was smiling when I read your comment.

It was toss up between traeger and camp chef. We got the camp chef. Loving it!
