I saw an interview with Louie Golhmert, who used to be a Judge himself, where he said the Obama Admin changed his mind. They said that if would make the court appear political, where by doing this exact thing, made the court seem political.
Probably more to the story. Golhmert is probably missing the part where the CIA told Roberts they had all the info on him at Epstein's Island.
Enrichment. Why else would he release a public opinion against it if not to signal to the other party that it was HIS vote that would need to be changed?
