Back when Citizen United was about to be voted on, there were stories in the press about Roberts having a heart condition. I saw one interview where someone in the press asked him about his heart condition. He appeared genuinely confused and said, "I have no heart condition." He voted for Citizens United shortly thereafter. Now they certainly have something on him now, but at that point in time they were threatening his life.
