Why would we bailout an industry that is blatantly attacking personal rights and freedoms and gloating about it on social media?

Stop chasing your customers away and you won't face bankruptcy. But that's not how Communists think, so I don't expect them to understand.

That's the problem is that there is no bankruptcy. Gov. is giving them billions while they shit on your personal freedoms. If bankruptcy were really an option, they may have to rethink the strategy

That's the point of the second sentence. These companies are run by Communists who don't rely on sound business fundamentals

Always been the way! Once they found out when you 'threaten politicians that X of their constituents will loose jobs without a bailout' and the money came then there is no need to do anything else. Run debts up and profit.

Yep I would book a flight if I knew my two year old mask hater would be able to get home

I would love to go visit my parents, but masks give me a headache after about 20 mins. No way I could keep one on for 4-5 hours. I would end up getting arrested mid air.

Just be constantly (fake) eating or drinking. Can't wear a mask to do those things.

I heard they cracked down on that after like a week.

Negative. Last month I watched this bitch of a flight attendant threaten to remove the man in front of me from the plane before take-off because he wasn't putting his mask back on while chewing.

I would go out of my way to use an airline that didn't require mask. I would FIND somewhere to go.

This. The main reason I haven’t travelled is because I’m not wearing a stupid mask for 6 hours in the airport and on the entire flight. Not happening.

Airport germs are different than restaurant germs. They get ya even if you’re sitting down

Better question: why wouldn't you beg for money from a group known for giving out free money? It's not a question of need, it's that you'd be stupid not to stick out your hand when cash is being dispensed.

Airlines got a pretty sweat deal.
They can still operate, pack the flights, make people wear masks, and get a bailout.
(I guess they have to get paid to drop the chemtra..... oh shit sorry I thought I was on conspiracies.win.)

Just flew across the country. Fucking horrible. It was terrible before but now, fucking horrible. High-school dropout faggot flight attendants drunk with COVID-power threatening everyone about lifetime bans. Nuts to butts with a bunch of sheeple. Packed to the gills and propaganda about how it’s so super safe! But yeah, take the people’s tax dollars to continue this nightmare! 🙄

BUT they want the easy money!

Yes they do

Courage is all it takes to say no. Just like we are finding out now, no backbone. "People might loose their jobs" and so what? Give the bailout to the workers and let the company go BK if we are going that route. But BK doesn't mean the company is gone, just a reorganization. Politicians paying them to continue the lobbying money flowing in. They are cheap damn dates. Here is $25B and I hope you support me with $50,000 next election. Vomit

Why would we bail out an industry that has consistently sold out American values

Airlines spent 96 cents out of every dollar of free cash flow they earned on stock buybacks. They should get a bailout only in exchange for the top executive's equity in the company. You cant mismanage this bad and finance your shitty behavior with the taxpayer
