I like that Lin Wood is fighting for Trump and I am naturally predisposed to believe and support him.
Nevertheless, fake news has cured my of ever believing in anonymous sources again. If you have evidence but you cannot reveal it or it’s source in public, don’t announce it publicly. Because people have learned to only trust evidence.
That is my feeling also. When somebody announces they have a secret, it doesn't impress me. Now if they just publish the secret with evidence that is great.
But there are probably legal ramifications to sort out with this too. Justices are public figures, but the convo was private.

There are a thousand ways to publish anonymously on the internet. There are ways of getting this out if the issue was that the recording was illegally obtained or to protect a source.
Lin obviously wants this is the public sphere. But if it can never be revealed to protect sources then it’s worthless hearsay.
