I don’t buy this. Robert’s isn’t the “boss” of the Supreme Court. They all have lifetime appointments. Clarence Thomas could literally write a dissent that says “Chief Justice Robert’s can suck on deez nuts” without fear of repercussion from Roberts.
There may have been yelling. There may have been high emotions. But no way did Roberts call anyone a “junior justice” or tell them that he would decide how they should vote.
I’m not expressing any opinion on whether Roberts is compromised in any way. Only that I don’t buy this conversation happening at all.
I keep seeing this information posted on here and the only source is the Hal turner radio show episode “dude, trust me.” Somehow it keeps getting reposted with “new” sources but they’re all going off of the original Hal turner dump. So take that for what it’s worth.
Iv heard lots of arguments that the Justices only meet in Zoom right now which apparently completely disproves the leak, though I have also heard ones that said the building is still open for official business and that this case was too sensitive to not do so in person, so it really is all over the place here.
