Considering there's a massive storm headed for DC that is expected to knock out tons of power, then yes.

no storm heading here unless all of our weather people forgot to tell us the storm was supposed to be yesterday and it wasnt much

I live outside DC. Storm has come and gone..... yesterday. And it was not a big deal.

It was also sunny and close to 40 today so much of what DC got probably already melted. That’s very typical for our weather around here.

I'm still skeptical of a lot of stuff, as we all should be... But I indulged in a little "no way" acronym comparison between "Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming" and "National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators." If I summarize correctly, it looks like they've been installing and building a nationwide communications network for a couple years in case the whole modern grid goes down - so the cops, firefighters, and medics can still talk. This is EXACTLY what I would have if I were them.
