There is an entire CFR dedicated to mask selection based on contaminant, concentration and duration of exposure. In addition there are protocols for duration of use under environmental conditions. There are many types of masks for many different contaminants for a reason.
But you obviously have a smooth brain and it is difficult for you to understand complex subjects...hence why you are in the "health" field....a "nurse" no doubt who changes bed pans and tells everyone who will listen you know what you are talking about.
