I've been saying for months the "blue line" isn't on our side, no matter how much we support them or fly their flags. They're arresting US for refusing to wear face diapers, arresting US for refusing to comply with meaningless orders, arresting & tasing US for trying to live our lives freely.......... Yes. Upstanding community members have gone out of their way to advocate for the police, defend them from attacks, work with them, pray for them and their families.

While I agree on multiple levels, let's be careful what we wish for here. Imagine a future with no cops. If a criminal comes into your home, there's no calling the police. You're it. And if you get shot and killed, your family has no back up. Or, in any other case where police are required to calm down a situation. I totally see where we could protect ourselves with weapons, but there is another side to this. Keep in mind, this wasn't happening before Covid. So, we should probably go after the corrupt government that controls the police right now.
Build cops back from the bottom up, structures that tie them too down from corrupted commie political systems have to go.
That’s what I’ve been saying. Go after the people who make the laws they have to enforce. You can fight off the grunts all you want but what good does that do? I would love a future without cops personally. Wild west style. You protect yourself, and the law is the law. If someone does egregious shit, they are declared an outlaw and any legal citizen has the right to kill them. Outlaw = outside the law, no longer protected by the law. It means the law doesnt apply to them and killing them isnt murder. Thats the world I want. Most (not all, most) county sheriff departments are upstanding and err on the side of the public more often than not. Once you get out of the cities, this is doubly true.
Not saying to blindly trust anyone, but if I were to choose between a city police force and a county's sheriff's department, I'd choose the sheriff nearly every time, with few exceptions.

I was in the army with a guy that got kicked out because he got caught doing crack (he threw up black sludge during a morning run, which is a dead give away if you're familiar with what that usually means). He got UCMJ'd and kicked out after having his rank stripped and his pay docked. A year later after he got booted I discovered that he had finished his cop training courses and was now officially a police officer. It was honestly mind blowing for me, and really opened my eyes on how thoughtless support of the police probably isn't a great idea. Some of them a great people to be sure, but then some of them are former druggie's that couldn't muster up the simple discipline to not do drugs while serving in the armed forces.

COPS are Law Enforcement Officers. Their job is enforcing the law, no matter how crappy the laws are. They do not serve you or me, they serve only the politicians that make the laws.

The only way to make them work for us is to literally make them work for us. Privatize the police. We need competing protection agencies that we aren't forced to pay regardless of how shitty of a job they do. We could even do something like school vouchers, where at least we'd have some say in who gets our tax money.

You can't be a rebel and a cop. You would be fired if you don't follow orders. I think a lot of cops are leaving the force because they are not willing to follow orders. There are good, bad and everything in between in law enforcement just like there is in all jobs. I don't judge them as a whole.

I never understood the right's position on police. The leftists make the rules and the police enforce them. Leftist legislators aren't out enforcing their own dumbass policies. Whether or not the cops agree with the laws they enforce is irrelevant when they shut down your business, bar you from entering vote counting areas, break up peaceful protests, and throw people in cages for violating unconstitutional executive orders.
The police aren’t a monolithic entity and people need to stop think of them as such. They are individuals who are responsible for their own actions. Hold individuals accountable and not the whole collective because that’s just retarded. I’m sick of all the ACAB shit I’ve been seeing recently because it’s just plain retarded.
