It depends what you department you are in. I graduated in 2013 and got nominated to go to a "diversity" retreat. One of the activities was literally making us form a group with other members who also have some sort of marginalized identity.At the time I was not a nimble navigator, just a tendie eating normie but it ended up being myself a few other white guys so we formed the white male group. For our presentation we cited a specific example of scenarios where we or someone else was passed over less qualified individuals because we didnt check off certain boxes based on race, gender etc. The lady leading it, some black woman who was the VP of some BS office on campus interrupted us mid presentation and kept getting louder and louder. At the time I was pretty confused by her reaction but now I know we triggered the shit out of her. Hearing how her beloved affirmative action really worked caused her to short circuit.
Congratulations and well done on getting your diploma. Even better, congrats on not giving into their liberal bullshit. I'm proud to say both my kids have their masters from liberal colleges in the past few years and both are very conservative still. I'm proud of all of you.

I can't change everything that's imperfect, so there might be a happy ending to this story (i hope). I am now applying to college years after leaving, and hope to have a degree after all ...in a couple years.

I told them more than likely half of you wouldn’t be here if we didn’t bomb Hiroshima because even if your grandfathers were in the European theater they’d all be shipped to invade Japan.
One girl inferred I was a racist by asking “would you have dropped an atomic bomb on Germany?” No shit bag because that was close to being won. And had we invaded Japan there’d been hundreds of thousands of dead Japanese civilians because they were going to fight even with sticks.
My professor did remind the class that the three day fire bombing of Dresden killed more Germans than the Japanese who died in Hiroshima.
