To the Supreme Court of the United States: I read that Justice Roberts screamed about feared civil unrest if the Texas case regarding election fraud were to be heard, apparently swaying opinion against it. This is shameful behavior for any man, let alone one that swears an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
We are a people of honor, not of cowardice. Placating a mob is beneath our nation. Civil unrest is now far more likely to happen, not because of Trump supporters, but because of the mobs which you fear. What will you do when they are killing people in the streets because there is no consequence to stealing an election? I am thoroughly disappointed.
The American people are good people, and we love justice. We do not fear evil, we condemn it. I am condemning yours. You may scoff at me, but I am an American, not to be scoffed at and dismissed. Weigh justice blindly, for that is what you are supposed to do. It seems that you need reminding.
Here’s mine. I fully expect to be called a coward: however, I do have hope (for now) that we can resolve this mess without violence:
To the Honorable Supreme Court of the United States,
I write with a heavy heart to plead that you take up the case of the 2020 election. Our nation is in crisis, and all are called to do their duty without regard to politics, emotion, or expediency.
To allow this election to go forward without review will result in the complete collapse of faith in our government. The issues presented by the blatant fraud must be addressed or fully half of the country will be disenfranchised. To approve this malfeasance and presume that people will blindly support an illegitimate government is a grievous and dangerous folly.
I’m not a scholar and I don’t pretend to understand the subtleties of law, but I do know that this crisis will devolve into catastrophe without everyone performing due diligence to ferret out the truth.
I took an oath to preserve and defend our Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic, and I and millions of others have been deployed in harm’s way to do so. It is not an oath I took lightly, and though I no longer serve in active duty, I will honor it as long as I have breath. I humbly ask that you do the same.
You are truly our last resort to resolve this with some semblance of reason. Our nation is beset by enemies, and I pray that you do your duty and preserve the Law that you swore to uphold, our institutions, and our very country.
Wonderfully written. It is this spirit of individuality and initiative that has allowed our country to flourish in spite of the wickedness of those in power! Thank you for the military service, faithful pede! We will win this one way or the other!
