Yes. One of my gripes about vaccines. All the smart people who know SCIENCE, and ACTUALLY HAVE a DEGREE, and GOOGLE shit and pretend they are regurgitating from memory, can never answer me on the question, if vaccines are so safe, why do they require unprecedented legal immunity that not even Tylenol enjoys?
Yup. The Vaccine Immunization Injury Court. I think it might be in Atlanta. Also, if you do get a payout you HAVE to sign an NDA so you can't go to the media. Fun.
True, that's what antivaxxers have been screaming about for years, landing on deaf ears. Look up the vaccine injury compensation fund. It's almost impossible to win in vaccine court.
This is apparently the case in the UK as well, you sign a waiver upon taking the vaccine which absolves the company from liability in case of adverse reactions.

Yup, this is why so many pharmaceutical companies have shifted away from oral drugs into the vaccine market. That and generics market is cut throat.
Easier to pump out vaccines that have limited liabilities to the maker.
Yes. Pharma companies didn't want to develop vaccines because of cost ineffectiveness so they were granted immunity from lawsuits on vaccines.
They are indemnified by the US government. People who are harmed can sue in the US Ct. of Claims.
