The Supreme Court is giving the states a month to respond - until January 14th! He’s trying to run out the clock - To hear the matter just before Inauguration Day (or afterwards). The country is a tinderbox and he’s playing with fire.

Standing used to mean something but like everything else corruption touches it becomes corrupt. It's now become an excuse to arbitrarily dismiss any case they feel like.
In an election like this nearly everyone has standing. They're trying to minimise that as though it's between a very narrow set of competing parties.
This in itself starts to raise certain issues. If a state doesn't have standing in a matter that impacts the united states (not united state) to which they are supposed to be a party then it means it is not a united state just a state. It would also mean that anything federal has no standing in that state. That would make it defacto an independent state. It would also immediately mean that the president of the united states is not their president. He would not have standing in their state just as their state would not have standing with the united states. It would also mean that SCOTUS has no standing in their state.
