They are "good people" in what way exactly? If they are simply brainwashed, maybe. But if they willingly swallow and choose what they are being fed, then that's something else. Like those still hooked up in the "Matrix" -- Orpheus explained it well (paraphrased): "Any one of them can be taken over in an instant by an agent [of the deep state, let's say] and kill you. Never forget that."
