According to the history books, and allegedly some of his own officers, he employed some pretty heavy handed "enhanced interrogation techniques" against people that may or may not have been part of the communist infiltration. If all of it were true I'd say he went too far but it's pretty much a guarantee they are exaggerated.
The US does that to is enemies as well. Im not justifying it at all but its amusing how morality is always rediscovered when the recipient of violence is someone fighting communism.
My morality here isn't being "rediscovered". I found the allegations of American troops using sexual violence on suspected terrorists at Abu Ghraib untenable as well and if they are true I don't see them any different
