I gave some the death stare at the hospital the other day. I was barred from the ultrasound of my child. So while out in the waiting room I had to listen to 4 hospital employees having an hour long personal conversation about their families and vacations and pay raises. Meanwhile theres supposed overcrowding. The place seems almost empty. Except a few parts where lines are backed up because of procedure nonsense and short staffing. I said on my way out, do you realise your personal conversation costs this hospital thousands of dollars, during a supposed pandemic? And we're supposed to consider you guys heroes,? PATHETIC! go fucking dance on tik tok you worthless cunts. Do it on the fucking train tracks with headphones on please. Do the world s favor.
I’m really sorry to hear that. I was just talking to my pastor yesterday about how amazed I was that we just gave in. They told us not to see our elderly, we stopped visiting them. They told us not to come in with family for appointments, we left family alone for appointments. They told us not to hug or kiss, we listened. They told us we can’t say goodbye to loved ones on their death bed, we said goodbye from outside a window...
They’re erasing what family means right before our very eyes.
This is an attack on the family unit, paving the way for splitting us up.
This is why I’m so upset with medical staff- they should have enough critical thinking and scientific knowledge to know a mother is not at higher risk of COVID (nor is the ultrasound tech) just because her live-in-husband joins for the appointment..... but they don’t.
Also the short staffing— remember back in April or so they were doing mass layoffs around the country in hospitals?? That was planned and orchestrated to ensure with the annual flu overfill came, they’d have these short staffing issues. Now nurses are tired and rabid about mask wearing- not because wearing a mask works- but because they’re overworked, exhausted, and have been muzzled almost a year now with this idea that if everyone would just put on a face diaper, life could finally go back to normal.......
.....but we’ve already discussed their lack of critical thinking.
Nauseating. “We’re overflowing with patients, and we’ll get busy changing their bed pans after a quick song & dance number!”
