How easy you give up on Jesus. How do I downvote this fool?

Wow. You invoke His name as if you know Him. Though you clearly don’t.

Maybe this is the last straw.

My ancestors saw God's help many times over the years.

In fact, we have a saying, "They tried to kill us, we won, let's eat."

I believe this will end in a way that NOBODY could have planned for or foreseen. Trump will stay in power, and everyone will know that God is The Almighty.

No civilization that sacrificed its children has survived the wrath of God. Not dooming. Just stating facts. He always uses invasion of foreigners as the punishment.

Israel got the babylonians, then the persians. And a few others as well.

you guys know the story.

There's a flood and a guy is hanging onto a tree top trying not to get swept away. A bunch of people on a rooftop try to throw him a rope in the ripping currents and he yells to them "Don't bother God's going to save me." Then a boat comes by and tries to help him but he says "no thanks, God will save me." Next a Helicopter tries to lower a basket to get him but he kicks it away screaming "I don't want you're help I'm waiting for God to save me." Then he gets too tired, gets swept away in the current and drowns. When he gets to heaven he asks God why didn't you help me? And God goes, "I threw you a rope, I sent you a boat, and then I sent in a helicopter. What more could I do?"

Most of the time, God allows the world to run unimpeded. Why this should be a surprise to anyone is hard to understand.

You are absolutely clueless about how God works, HE NEEDS PEOPLE TO WORK THROUGH most of the time, God doesn't always get his way, he wanted Roe V WADE abolished, one of the top things he hates is the death of innocent life, READ THE Bible, he worked through people.

God doesn’t do our homework for us, He May flunk the country for not doing it ourselves, though. Good men have to stand up and confront evil.

The Meek will NOT Inherit the Earth! Time to undo the programming. EDIT: learned the proper definition of the word thanks to pedes here. The Meek will inherit the earth!

What do you think the definition of "meek" is, as it was used when this passage was written?

WakingKnowledge 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought it was the weak or shy but it apparently is the humble. Even then I don't agree. Assholes always seem to get there way in this world through force or trickery or some other means. My point is I don't think the Bible has the answers for us. God is not going to do this for us. Everyone throughout history has had to fight for what they have. We are no different. If we want freedom we have to fight for it.

This may give you a different perspective on "the meek shall inherit the earth":

Thanks, that was very helpful. I guess the meek will inherit the earth.

*think that was misspelled in translation...

on consulting the original text I found the accurate text to be "the keek shall inheit the earth"
