Hi pedes. I am interacting on a post and when I refresh, the number of updoots says 400. When I switch to 'rising' and scan down to the posts that have about 400 updoots, the thread does not show up. Anyone know why? Why is it hidden on rising?

Pretty sure rising is more updoots in a time period, rather than totals.

Gotcha. Thanks!

I noticed the same behavior. I believe the posts listed under Rising might have their shown updoot numbers delayed slightly (like from a few minutes ago). It shouldn't take too long to update.

Sounds like it's time of post / amount of updoots in a given time period.

That may be true, but the updoot number appeared delayed to me.

I did notice after about an hour old or so, a post drops off Rising.

Rising is for new-ish posts which are receiving a fair amount of upvotes over time. If the post is older than those in rising, it won't show up on the first page.
