So first off you have to get the virus ( not happening for most), then you have to get the virus and be sick (plenty of people are asymptomatic) Then you have to be one of the people who gets sick enough to require hospitalization. Even then most of us are in the 99.97% group who would survive. The shot gives you less of a guarantee than your own immune system and it comes with a boatload of uncertainties.
