Ever since I was little, I heard how great the American spirit is, from freeing slaves to fighting for Freedom. As a Puerto Rican I was delighted to know I was born an American, and part of me always believe in the "American dream" in the spirit of the people.
in 2016 as someone who believe in democracy and hold Obama as one of the best presidents, I was against Trump. Later on I got to found out why. I was brainwashed and lied by the Media, I did little to no research on the matter and as a result I was so uniformed that I ended up hating on Trump.
So I did my research and as I got more informed, I got behind Trump even more. And I will fight for him till the end.
But I am sad, and I am disappointed in America. You guys gave us citizenship on 1912 so that we could be part of the American Spirit. Yet where is it? A criminal dies by overdose and the entire left explodes, burn cities, loot stores, flat out killed in cold blood people with different political views.
Yet the Patriots... what do we do? Our own get killed, bullied, assaulted, spit on, insulted, kicked, our elderly gets punched, our women kicked. Yet what do you do?
Everyone calls for a fight but no one is willing to fight. "Hold the line" "Stop being a doomer" I call bullshit.
Unless we take to the streets and fight back, in my opinion, I say the American spirit is dead. Very disappointing.
My question is, will we do something? or just let others do whatever they want to our own, hide behind the idea of everything will be solved, or someone will solve it for us.
I won’t reply back after this.
Many many well armed people have been training for year because of everything you say above. Our revolutionary spirit is strong and our love of The United States, as founded is stronger. One Donald Trump or one of his high level proxies says it is time, those previously mentioned well armed men WILL mobilize.
There is a difference between us and shitholers when it is time to revolt. Ours will be just, it is not a revolution for the sake of a revolution. It will be a revolution for the sake of the people and nation. Violent action must be taken only after there is a failure of all legal and non violent means.
Sure is depressing, especially because of the Fact the Laws are on our side.
Are we? We scream the loudest but when told to shut up, we roll over and take it. Is not who screams the loudest that gets heard, is the one that keeps on screaming.
Well said, Boricua! I am Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 by birth but I am an AMERICAN FIRST!! We need to remember how OUR (yes mine too!) forefathers stood up to tyranny and fought for our God-given rights!
Yes our History is also American History, there fore we as Americans, need to fight back to defend our Freedom.
