Originally I thought of the obvious fact that it's impossible to know the long term side effects. I mean you can't know the effects 5-10 years down the road of something that's less than a year old.

So I thought - no

Then I realized that in 5-10 years we will know. So really, it's a so much of a rushed vaccine but a experimental rushed vaccine.

My thinking changed - not a chance

But then I noticed people talking about how it should be mandatory. That makes me not want to take it based on principal alone.

My thinking changed again - fuck off

So know when people ask whether I want the vaccine I say, "no, not a chance, fuck off"

I’m close enough to retirement that I’ll leave my job if they require a Rona vaccine.

They’re really pushing the past few years. I had to be fingerprinted a few years ago. Oh, no big deal. Except that I’d had the same job for over thirty years and now they change the requirements.

I’m forced to get a flu shot before Jan 1. Never had to do that before, AND all staff are wearing N95 and eye protection and the residents we work with all have had the flu vaccine. I’ve never had a flu shot in my life because I don’t need one.

I know they’re going to try the Rona vax. Probably soon. If they really cared, the residents should get the vaccine before I do, since they are the vulnerable ones.
