Hello my fellow patriots and pedes. I have been throwing an idea around in my head and wanted to get some opinions on it. I am a web developer and have been trying to think how I can contribute to our fight. I am not a data scientist and I barely understand that stuff, I am not great with CSS animations and have very low photoshop skills, but I know how to write web API's and some decent looking websites. So, I was wondering if you all believe there would be a need for an API that could be used to reference news based on factual proof, category, state, city, county, etc. I am thinking of making a very useful tagging system where you can just type "voter fraud" and maybe some filters like state and city, and boom you get some results.

I can create an easy to use front-end but don't mind opening up an API for others to use. What do you all think of this? Useful at all? Could my skills be used elsewhere? I am open to other ideas.

For those who do not know what an API is, think of it as a website that just delivers text to other websites. It's basically a website that just accesses a database to read, write, update, and delete data. Other websites use this website to pull data to use on their websites.

Interesting idea. I would consider a few things such as where the data would come from. Are you entering it your self?

Maybe it's possible to piggyback google/duckduckgo through an API they provide.

Yeah getting the data is going to be huge roadblock. I have young kids and work full time so this is something I can didn't max 1 hour at night to regularly. I can't be the developer and full-time moderator. Another thing is trying not to let lefties overrun the submission process.

I need to look into those API's.

Well, share the repo and I'll hang a look. Maybe I can contribute. Good luck man!

Awesome! Thank you for sharing that. I am going to sign up with them tonight. That's a great idea. I thought of web archiving too. There is an absolute need for it.

I would consider myself highly skilled in the Vue.js ecosystem (Vue.js, Vue-Router, Vuex). I hate the fact that they had BLM plastered all over their website for months though. I am very familiar with Vuetify.js and Bootstrap as well. I have created multiple single page applications using Vue.js, Vue-Router, Vuex, and Vuetify.

Aha, finally a man (or woman) after my own heart.

Here are my technology ideas:

  • Situational Awareness application - this is an app to show patriots where other patriots are at a tactical level. Imagine a strategy game-like application where all units are visible. That way, patriots scan plan their attacks, avoid friendly fire, etc.
  • Radio Jammers - The FBI, CIA, and other 3 letter orgs have a communications infrastructure that will give them a tremendous edge. Jammers will deny them this advantage.

Man pede here.

I like the situational awareness app idea. That's something that is completely doable too. You can use the gyro scope on a cellphone to get a lot of that information. Great idea. The radio jammer would be beyond my skill scope though. I would think that those agencies would be using an encrypted frequency right? I thought that's how law enforcement did it.
