Just did a personal survey of a handful of my TDS friends/family. No one has heard of the alternate electors at all. As far as I know, the damn state legislators send the electors. This is another case of a "disappeared" story, so it must be a bigger deal than we think!

Im well aware that citizens make those decisions, but i cant imagine most people doing anything.
I don't disagree. Someone else likened it to a cafeteria food fight. That works well.
