The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), the U.S. agency that manages the nation’s stockpile of nuclear weapons, is the latest in federal agencies hacked, according to a new report on Thursday.
Officials close to the matter told Politico that the NNSA has evidence of hackers gaining access to the agency’s networks in a mass spy operation that also hacked various other U.S. agencies. The officials don’t yet know what information hackers have been able to access or steal – and it may take weeks to find out.

That's a misleading statement bud, you shouldn't put careless shit like that up there. The NNSA is one of many other federal agencies hacked. There are many fail safes in place, and this article does not mention the weapons being compromised. It is not that easy to access this country's nuclear armaments. So please fix the title, it's good for catching attention, but it's a borderline lie. Now DOE is the one you need to worry maybe. But frankly the grid is the weakest of everything, this is a persistent threat known for decades and consistently ignored. Look up a guy named Joe Weiss, he's been calling for improvements to the cybersecurity aspects of the grids control systems (SCADAs and the PCL if I remember correctly) These systems are basically how the Iranian uranium refining labs were destroyed a while back. The hack involved a virus that quietly controlled the centrifuges doing refinement, using the PCL units in all industrial equipment and forced it to go in weird cycles (Speed up/Slow down) till they exploded the whole lab. "The culprits behind hack were never identified"...
