As someone not from the USA, I need to tell you, this is so much bigger than just the USA.
I seriously believe that a Biden presidency will allow the overtaking (or at least equalising) of China to the USA as the world's greatest power, ushering in a new world order where the world must bow down to China. It is a world where Iran flourishes and Israel suffers, where the EU leaders rubs its hands with glee and the rest of us suffer.
Trump staying in power is literally the difference between a good world and a miserable world.
It’s been projected for a long time that China will over take the US as the world’s largest economy in the mid 2020’s. Trump’s trade war probably pushed that off a couple extra years but it’s going to happen no matter what at this point.
It’s also long been projected that by 2040 China will have an economy larger than the US and EU combined. At that point they will be the absolute undisputed world super power, the most powerful world super power ever. Way more of a super power than the US is now.
Basically the only thing that can stop this is a full embargo on China, which even Trump was afraid to do because it would hurt us a lot as well. Hopefully a we get a crazy populist in 2024 that will go unchained to stop China.

We are the super power now because of our economy. Having the biggest economy in the world means our government has the biggest budget in the world. That’s why we have a stacked military and diplomatic pull. Money is power. If China has twice as much money flowing through their country than we do they are twice as powerful.
