The unfortunate thing is that a majority of people simply do not participate in the political process, which is how so many turds got into the punchbowl to begin with. You don't need armed revolts if the citizens stay engaged in government. And people used to do that, which is why it's taken so long to get to this level of corruption and why the Left and swampy types had to move so slowly until recently.
Wasn't there an incident of a store employee getting arrested for shooting at least one looter? It's the BS laws that handcuff us on the side of justice . Some states that do not allow us to defend our own homes even if someone is stealing right in front of us.

Helicopters flew overhead and my neighbor was on his police scanner waiting to see what would happen, reporting to me everything he heard.
I took my favorite gun out and laid it on the diningroom table with a stack of rounds and waited.
Fortunately there was a preemptive police presence set up to contain them and nothing happened.
This little city is a red one. The next city over is blue, they had marches and riots and nobody did anything to stop them.
