To be fair, my wife is a nurse and almost all the girls on her floor don't want the vaccine. When she asked why, they could not give her reasons or mentioned a link to infertility. The link to infertility was a girl who got a placebo. I'm all for being skeptical, and my wife is too, but let's be educated. If there are adverse effects, let's find them. Trump pushed to get the vaccine done quicker and if he's getting it, we should support it.
Says there's not enough data to suggest the vaccine causes it but that the fda said they would continue to observe. I'm not saying the vaccine is perfect as I'm definitely cautious about it. If I get it, it'll be March or April so I can see the effects on others. I just think we as a group are smart and should be critically looking at all sides. I know some nurses in a birth center and they are all getting it, and they tell me arm soreness/weak arm and headache are the side effects they've heard of.

It doesn't make sense. They could have injected some harmless saline solution, or used the movie syringes where the needle disappears into the syringe, instead of the cap-on or empty-syringe videos. Instead they filmed that low effort propaganda.
And now they have a fainting nurse, and a story of "oh she always faints, we totally knew that, and picked her as a public showcase anyway, what's the big deal?".

My daughter is a phlebotomist. She used to faint every time she got a shot or had blood drawn. Hell, she'd faint by watching someone else get a shot or blood drawn. (Something that delighted my diabetic son. His favorite joke was, "Hey. Check this out." She looks at the needle imbedded in his belly. She screams. As she's sinking to the floor he's laughing his butt off. "The Circle Game" was a riot in my house. This is partially why she became a phlebotomist. She couldn't let her brother WIN, dammit. )
She got over it. It's basically exposure therapy and it freaking works.
I would recommend to anyone who is taking any vaccine to rest for a bit after and not do anything right away that is super stressful like, I don't know, GIVING A FREAKING PRESS CONFERENCE!

Healthcare workers getting bloodborne illness due to accidental sticks after giving someone a shot is a problem in the industry.
It's not common, but when you look at how many needles get used every year, if something can happen it's bound to eventually.
