This is why I'm saying no stimulus at this point is needed. It has been so long that most people aren't just sitting at home praying for a government check. People with bills have found other ways to pay (or not) and 600-2000 isn't just going to right the ship. Plus it devalues any money you did have saved up to try to make it through.
I'm in logistics/shipping and have actually made more money. They added "hazard" pay, then stopped it after a few months. All hell broke loose, plus the "official" Covid numbers started going back up so they reinstated extra Covid pay. Plus we've been slammed for months because a lot more folks are ordering stuff online.
