While times are troubling enough that I can understand how many would take this for the end times. I still stand by the passage that God will come like a thief in the night and we will neither know the day nor the hour.

That being said, I don't think the church has ever had such weak men pulling the levers of power. There are no saintly men today that sit on the thrones of the bishops and if they ever attempt to canonize a single one, I will make it my duty to speak in dissent. There might be saintly men and women out there but they aren't guiding the church on the thrones of governance.
