Because it’s something he promised, accomplished, and succeeded in making happen when all the morons said it couldn’t be done. Now, separate whether you want the vaccine or not, and think about the logistics, research, and manufacturing that came together to make it happen. It’s an amazing accomplishment
That's ridiculous. The vaccine is being pumped by the same companies BIll Gates backs. What difference does it make if POTUS financed it with government funds? In fact, you could argue that Gates benefited from that fact. He got a vaccine rushed and approved all using federal funds AND his stock value increased an outrageous amount. I don't see anything beneficial to anyone other than Gates here.
The classic non answer, answer. Again, it's not the accomplishment that's the issue. The issue is whether or not this virus, whom even POTUS has repeatedly stated as being overblown, requires a vaccine being coerced into the population. It's easy to back POTUS on everything he does generally cause we can see the opposite side as corrupt, lying scum bags. This particular topic is a bit more complex and for you to summarize it as an accomplishment therefore it's okay to be coerced into jabbing it into your arms ( unconstitutionally) and even going against the Nuremberg laws, shows your lack of awareness or caring for that matter.
I think you're the one that needs to open your eyes. We either have a constitution that covers us under all circumstances or we don't. It doesn't ONLY apply to what POTUS says.
You also need to learn to read a little better, or put your glasses on, because you're accusing me of saying things I never said. I never advocated for or against a vaccine, but merely pointed out the fact that it is a marvel that they developed one quickly, utilizing multiple industries to make it happen. The virus itself is a completely separate issue, along with the response by the government which is yet another issue itself. So, if you want to discuss these 'complex' issues, we can, because they can easily be separated, although I'd hazard a guess that it might be too complex for you to comprehend. My original point had nothing to do with the rollout of the vaccine and who benefits from it, and whether or not someone should take it; they're all separate issues. If you choose not to take it, that's your issue. If others choose to or not to take it, that's not your issue. Your body, your choice. Their body, their choice. If you want to complain about Gates benefitting from it, ok. It's not an issue I really care about. I don't believe anyone should be coerced into doing something they don't want to do. Furthermore, you have your facts wrong (not surprising), because the Nuremburg Laws are much different than the Nuremburg Code (which likely you're referencing). I also would never agree to forcing anybody to take something they don't want. If they feel it necessary to take the vaccine, that's on them, not me. Finally, you can disagree on my points, but don't try and make arguments with me that I didn't make, because believe me, if I wanted to make them I very well would have.
