He got called into one of the many meetings on some issue or another, and they asked him if he could schedule a time frame to produce a new action plan for something and schedule meetings. Since this is a high priority thing, they needed something by the end of January...
While he was sitting in the meeting, he produced the action plan, drew up the needed maps, contacted the other people that had to be in the loop, got it all approved and dropped it all in the meeting chat, finished.
He said he enjoys getting the chance to make them glitch out.
Oh, it has. My son is stubborn. If he would learn to play bureaucrat he would be golden, but as it is he has everyone pissed off and now actively working to try and keep him from doing his job.
They don't know my son. He may never get promoted. But they won't fire him (they can't, he is the only person they can get that has the certs they need), and he will get shit done whether they like it or not. You'd think after the years he has done this they would know better, but they are bureaucrats, so...
