After floor debate, both chambers vote separately. We need all Republican Senators to vote in favor of the objection to state electoral votes in swing states. As we know there are several rhino fucks that might vote against.

How hard is it to understand that if they don’t support Trump they will either be cheated out or voted out?

2
TerranGhost 2 points ago +2 / -0

You say that, but it seems likely Kemp coordinated (read: bribed) Dominion to put the fix in for him on the voting systems. Why else would he be so quick to sweep the idea of auditing the machines under the rug and certify their fraudulent results. The thing about globalist shitters like this is that the R or D doesn't matter, that's just theater for us. Dominion will back or sell their services to the highest bidder or whoever cucks the hardest for Open Society Foundation and other globalist cabals. That's why Mitch McConnell, Brian Kemp, the late John McCain, the Bushes and other ostensible "conservatives" end up selling out the country almost as easily as the Dems (they just have to sell it to us differently). The globalists are a uniparty occupying both sides of the aisle. True, there may be more officials who are Republican who are red-blooded nationalists who stand up for America but the globalists among us aren't concerned about winning elections in the conventional sense. They'll either cheat their way to victory through Dominion or other vehicles of fraud, or they'll take a lap as a lobbyist, heading an NGO, or sitting on the board of some "think tank" until their time comes around again.

There’s all sorts of stuff , depends on whether the electoral votes are ‘regularly given’ etc. if they electoral votes are ‘regularly given then booth houses must agree to have them thrown out , if they are not ‘regularly given’ then both houses must agree to keep them.

10
PresidentErectHunter 10 points ago +11 / -1

You need just ONE Senator and ONE Congressman to object. That would force a vote in both chambers. Finding two to object is not the problem.

The problem is a few Rhinos like Romney and Mitch stabbing Trump in the back.

4
KAG4EVRodysseus11 4 points ago +4 / -0

when a vote is called, we can expect probably party line vcotes, which means objections may pass the Senate, but for them to be sustained and pass the House, we need some Dem defectinos - so think Trump-won districts

3
PresidentErectHunter 3 points ago +3 / -0

Romney can be counted on?! I don't think so. Romney has already demanded that Trump concede. (R) only have a one or two vote majority in Senate. All it takes is a few traitors like Romney, Susan Collins, Murkowski...

As for The House, Mo Brooks is pushing for a Vote by States rather than for a vote of all 435 House members. Trump likely wins a vote by states 26-24.

1
KAG4EVRodysseus11 1 point ago +1 / -0

agree on the Senate possible traitors - I just think we could get them if McConnell is on board. He can most of the time herd his cats.

Pelosi and the House are another matter, much tougher IMO but possible if we focus on members who will lose their seats in 2022 unless they defect.

Mo Brooks is a warrior, I dont know if he CAN get a "vote by states", that isnt how the process is described in the electoral act of 1878 - although that would be great if we could get that.

1
PresidentErectHunter 1 point ago +1 / -0

There is some controversy as to whether the Electoral Act of 1878 passed by Congress is Constitutional and Mo Brooks is ready to take it up to the Supreme Court.

Not likely the Supreme Court will be friendly but who knows...

Even if the Electoral Act of 1878 is ruled unconstitutional, the 12th Amendment clearly states that only a Contingent Election goes to a vote by States.

Biden has 270+ votes so this is NOT a Contingent Election. Therefore it goes to a vote to the full House of 435 for Certification. A majority of House is required to reject Certification.

Not clear how Mo Brooks will argue around that.

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes. I trust very few to do the right thing. I think we have weak senators.

3
HockeyMom4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

We need them all. What they fail to understand is they are not standing up for Trump, but for US, the American people. It was our legal votes that have been disenfranchised. Americans showed up for Trump and stealing this election is stealing from the American people.

Step up Congress! Do the right thing for Americans.

HidinginNY 19 points ago +19 / -0

Besides Rand Paul and Ted Cruz? It's pretty likely those two would object along with Mo. We should contact them to make sure and contact some more senators along with members of the house to get them to do their part.

9
deleted 9 points ago +9 / -0
5
VenusDe 5 points ago +5 / -0

Rand Paul maybe because he is up for reelection in 2022. Not Cruz.

The reason we have plenty of representatives willing to challenge because they go up for re-election every 2 years. It's the Senators -- who only go up for re-election every 6 years so have time (they think) to weather the storm of back stabbing Trump -- that we need to worry about. Mitch McConnell* just got re-elected to his 6 year term, he got his 300 judges and will keep his majority. He doesn't need Trump anymore.

We need at least ONE of the Senators to stand up to Mitch. The new Senator for AL Tommy Tubberville says he will, but that's a lot of eggs in one unknown's basket (but at least there is hope -- Sessions would NOT have done it for sure).

Here are a list of R Senators up for re-election in 2022 -- they should be our focus. They are the least likely to be able to weather the storm of backstabbing Trump -- promise to support a primary challenger if they don't object:

Richard Shelby (AL) Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) (don't waste your time on this twat) John Boozman (AK) Marco Rubio (FL) Mike Crapo (Idaho) Chuck Grassley (Iowa) Jerry Moran (KS) Rand Paul (KY) John Kennedy (LA) Roy Blunt (MO) John Hoeven (ND) Rob Portman (OH) (don't waste your time on this twat) Tim Scott (SC) John Thune (SD) Mike Lee (UT) Ron Johnson (WI)

I'm leaving out Richard Burr (NC) and Pat Toomey (PA) because they have both announced their retirements (i.e., not running again) so it's a waste of time to call/email them -- they're both twats anyway).

Loeffler -- if she wins GA as I expect her too, will also be up for reelection in 2022. Wouldn't hurt to get her to pledge she will object too if she wins. But I think her reelection is a done deal that Mitch McConnell cut with the Dems to not object to Biden electors.

FreedomLover21 2 points ago +2 / -0

IMO, the path is for VP Pence to set aside contested states, so no candidate can get to 270; then, each state sends 1 rep to vote; and hopefully, since there are more republican states they send enough winning votes for GEOTUS.

14
Cyer6 14 points ago +15 / -1

That's probably the only path right now and that's only true if Pence has it in him. For me, this is a big question mark.

8
RussianAgent13 8 points ago +8 / -0

If the roles were reversed and Trump were VP, he'd do it for sure. But Pence is a politician, even if he's on our side.

2

ThePantsParty 0 points ago +1 / -1

That is correct. It's only 1 per state for a contingent election. For voting on objections, it's a simple majority, which is guaranteed to fail in the house, and probably would in the senate too.

1
ProfessorRomendev 1 point ago +1 / -0

IMO, the path is for that to fail, Trump to say “See!? The whole system is rotten! We’ve tried every means available and they still cheat us!” Then he declares martial law/insurrection act and fixes this by force.

1
TomPain 1 point ago +1 / -0

Correct. But first, Congress can object to electoral votes and require fraud hearings. And if they force a vote on these objections which will make clear to the world who is MAGA and who is CCP.

And THEN Pence can reject.

I think deep down inside there's a very small voice of their conscience. They know the right thing but they're giving in to fear. There's a tipping point where if enough courage is shown it will become contagious. Yeah, sure, they shouldn't be cowards in the first place...but they're human and they're flawed just like the rest of us. That said, time to SACK UP!!!

5
RussianAgent13 5 points ago +5 / -0

6

5
Ruhnaynay 5 points ago +5 / -0

So once they all vote what happens? Does the majority have to vote to toss out the electors?

3
RussianAgent13 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's what I wanted to ask. We have quite a few supporters on our side. So for every elector, someone will protest, and then the entire Congress has to hold a vote?

4

9
CzechPede 9 points ago +9 / -0

2

Or put another way: is absolutely impossible since the dems control the house.

2
RussianAgent13 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks. It looks like if Pence doesn't shut it down the counting will take a LONG time.

u/Ruhnaynay

1
Ruhnaynay 1 point ago +1 / -0

What’s exactly does that mean?

1
TomPain 1 point ago +1 / -0

It means we will know by the end of this who is really MAGA or not.

And it will put a large % of Congress on the record of contesting the election which provides backup for other actions that Trump could take. In other words, if the process yields publicly-accepted proof of foreign interference and/or domestic criminal fraud.

1
VenusDe 1 point ago +1 / -0

-3

2
VenusDe 2 points ago +2 / -0

Precedent doesn't make it law.

And let the Democrats challenge Pence's action of not following unconstitutional precedent -- SCOTUS should dismiss based on STANDING if they don't want to fucking get involved.

4
KAG4EVRodysseus11 4 points ago +4 / -0

no, we need a majority in each chamber. It will be likely be along party lines, which means we should get Senate.

The problem will be the House, and the potential is House members in Trump-won districts who dont want to certainly lose their seat in 2022

2

MakeLiberalsCryAgain 7 points ago +7 / -0

Here's my prediction. We will get the objections, but if it's actually allowed to go to the floor for a vote, the GOP will fuck us. At least they'll be on record, but it won't matter because we lose. This needs to be settled before 1/6. Don't count on this contested election stuff gaining any traction in Congress.

2
LockeThePatriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even if every Republican goes MAGA it won't matter because a House and Senate majority are required to reject a slate of electors and send it to the State Delegation.

1
MakeLiberalsCryAgain 1 point ago +1 / -0

So then we're hosed? I thought I heard something Pence being able to set the rules, but who the hell knows. It's best not to count on Congress to do anything because they never do.

Not happy with my senators rn. They heard from me today. Mr. Outspoken himself Tom Cotton has been way too silent on this.

Totally believe we will have senators step up. I am putting major pressure on ours from Kansas and trying to get others to do the same. Ours is kind of spineless but I’m not letting up.
