Mile thick ice sheets were going to cover the plains states and cause global famine unless we stopped using cars and air conditioning. A decade later they just the flipped the script with no other changes. All Scientists Agree, The Science Is Settled. After a couple decades of zero warming, at all, in fact we had several cold AF winters so they just took a flu virus and it's like The Walking Dead with much better writing.
