You are not a journalist. The entire value of your existence is not based on getting the scoop first. Have the bare minimum of self respect that should accompany that.
ProTip: when a story first breaks there will be duplicates as multiple pedes hit Post at the same time. No harm no foul. But when every other post in New has been the same link for the last 15 minutes you just didn't bother to check.
