The government only has authority if you choose to believe in that authority.

Constitutionally, government only has authority granted to it by the people.

I was willing to acknowledge authority that I disagreed with when we had elections that I disagreed with but were not entirely overrun with fraud and abuse. After all, as a Republic, sometimes things don't go the way I would like and other people's voices and opinions count as much as mine.

That is all over now. Elections are invalid so government is invalid. They have no authority.

Come and take it.

The power of the state flowing directly from the power of the people has always been a crock of shit. Neither I nor my ancestors were at liberty to steal from others to build a road, so the state's authority to do so logically could not have been derived therefrom.
