Communism DOES NOT WORK unless they have total dominion over everyone else.

The only way communism works is to enslave and oppress the more competent people in a society. If for example we split the USA into 2 countries but you were a citizen of both and could freely move wherever. One of the countries was full communist, designed to be EXACTLY the way in which idealist communists want it. All utopian as it gets. Then you had the second country which was full capitalist and maximum freedom. No welfare system, NONE, no redistribution spending AT ALL. Basically the only government that exists is for a military and national defense. Even the judiciary system would be private.

What would happen is this. All competent, healthy, strong and virtuous people would wind up on the capitalist side. Even the biggest altruists would be on the capitalist side because they'd feel they would be better able to help the communist side by creating more wealth on the capitalist side then using their wealth for good. The communist side would attract all the incompetent people, the criminals, the lazy people who want free stuff etc...

Eventually the communist side implodes and there's a mass exodus to the capitalist side. Then the capitalist side becomes infected with communism and we end up with our current system.
