Bingo!! Im spending less time on here because i noticed its becoming an echo chamber and intolerant. Its been a black pill i guess. Both sides arent that different. The loudest voices are sanctimonious, ignorant and intolerant.
Then there are those of us that love america, dont have a side, just love freedom, hate tyranny and want to express ideas to save our country, with jokes mixed in.
I agree, in recent weeks its been a little bit disappointing to see so many people rush to judgement - its exactly the kind of behavior that the left engage in, virtue signalling or twisting words to suit their motives when its convenient (eg someone they dont like) but when its not convenient (eg someone they like) the very opposite is occurring with people defending and doing deep dives to debunk or provide a reasonable explanation.
I get that tensions are high and certain politicians arent everyones cup of tea, but what i've see happening is a loud vocal minority is generally causing "pile on" campaigns and this controversy is a shining example.
The immediate response to Crenshaws tweet was to interpret it as "i was hacked" but that is NOT what he said at all. Could he have worded it better? Sure, but the same could be said about a lot of Republican tweets or statememts including Trump.
I'd say i'm apathetic towards Crenshaw, but if i had a gun to my head and had to lean one way or another i admit i'd lean in support rather than against - so if people want to label my comments as biased thats find.. but here is how i interpreted his tweet:
whilst his account might have been following oliviamaynyc, this was not a conscious or intentional thing which occurred either by himself or trusted staff members with access to the account
he obviously is not the sole person with control or access to the twitter account, but the notion that he would use his public twitter account to engage and communicate with an escort, rather than just making a burner account, should be so obvious it need not be said - but he's done so anyway
the changing of the password is not an admission or claim of being hacked - its a diplomatic way of explaining that he's taken measures to rectify the situation
reading between the lines its nof hard to put 1+1 together and realize there is two more likely scenario for how this occurred a) it was an ex-staff members actions b) it was a bait n switch (eg the olivia account appeared differently when followed and has since been change)
I think its more like A than B but without logs and an audit its hard to know for sure. What i can say is this, a quicke google reveals the following and i havent seen a single person bring this up.. prolly because it hurts the narrative that "dan man bad"

What is disappointing is i bet if the same exact scenario happened to Cruz and he tweeted out the same explanation there wouldn't be the same rush to judgement and a meme of him jumping out of a plane.
It's this hypocrisy that i absolutely despise and is so prolific on the left - it's one of the things which seems so obvious from the outside looking in, and yet here we are.. in a situation where we have an army of people on thedonald doing the EXACT same behavior. I find it disappointing and disgusting.
It's absolutely fine if you don't like Crenshaw but this hypocrisy is doing more harm than help in my opinion, and it's a shame there seems to be more people willing to pile on because ha ha funny meme... and yet when you scroll through the comments there so many ppl saying "uhm i donf get it what happened?"
To see this rise so high is concerning - thedonald is either infiltrated by a lot of lefty thinking people now, or a small loud vocal minority is manipulating the less informed masses and having potentially destructive effects...
