I really can't see a place where the answer is yes PARTICULARLY when the body issuing the subpoena (legislature) has ORIGINAL jurisdiction over the matter at hand. (elections)

You can contest a subpoena if what is being subpoena has no relevance to the case, you have no evidence, or it is confidential.
