Rant - I've got nothing that would disqualify me from owning a firearm and I was really hoping to be able to rest easier over Christmas break knowing I could protect my family but I'm pissed and have no idea how long this is going to take . I've been sitting in my car in the parking lot since noon eastern time hoping I'll get the all clear before having to drive home and wait until after the weekend, or longer for the government to decide to stop delaying my rights. I swear if something happens between now and then that would require me to need home protection like a break in or a riot and my family is left vulnerable I'm gonna have a new life mission of seeking retribution.

Be me, law following family guy with a spotless record attempting to buy a shotgun (already payed for ) and being told I can't because my background check in still in research mode... wtf? I took off work today for this waste of time and I can't do shit about it? Fuck! I was gonna participate in my 1st Sunday gunday, now who knows if/ when these lazy fucken government employees will get off their asses and allow me my constitutional right to protect myself, I'm just trying to get a shotgun for home protec...
