They've been a little cagey dealing with critics and not wanting any bad publicity, but honestly I don't care if a corporation is involved directly in philanthropy, I know behind the scenes that CFA leadership is pro-family and pro Judeo-Christian values.
I'm in the NW so I was late to the Chick-Fil-A phenomena. When I found out Chick-Fil-A originally stood by their donations to Christian Orgs (the Salvation Army wasn't it?) I immediately found the nearest restaurant and took my family there telling them it was because this company has principles. I liked it...alot. My picky kids liked it.
I thought, "These guys are on their way to taking over a huge chunk of the fast food market."
They were growing because of those principles...I started talking to my wife about possibly looking into a franchise because the nearest restaurant to our house is over 20 mins away. There was an old fast food joint right down the street from us standing empty with alot of the necessary equipment ready for an underserved area. What the CEO did for good press was totally cucked. I Can't respect a guy who shines another man's shoes for woke points. If he had stood up and demanded $5 I could be persuaded to change my mind...but he didn't. I dropped my inquiry due to this cowardice.
I graduated high school in Chile in 1985. Pinochet saved Chile from Communism, restored law and order, fixed the economy and made Police and Armed Forces proud to wear their uniforms. Chile was then seen as the Britain of South America.

Seems okay, really. What I meant by my earlier post is that your and your girl should be besotted with each other enough so that a proposal doesn't seem like a gigantic step forward into unknown territory - rather just a natural progression.
I have often said -half in earnest and half in jest- that PDJT needs to go total Pinochet to deal with the mess our country is in. Now, I am noticing that I'm not the only one who has thought this. I am seeing other references to Pinochet here and elsewhere. He had to resort to some pretty draconian methods to deal with the commie bastards back in the day in Chile. Of course, he was demonized by the left.
If and when PDJT decides to invoke the Insurrection Act, things will probably get ugly for a time. However, whatever needs to be done, should be done, as we cannot exist as a country where the legislative and judicial branches of our gov are compromised along with the DNCMSM, big tech, most levels of education etc. It's now or never.
