I live on the edge of the Bay Area. In my neighborhood, at the time of the election, there were around four Trump flags or Republican yard signs for every Biden/Harris sign.
SF is something like 85% libtarded. Berkeley, Oakland also dominantly libtarded. All our software companies here have an inner HR gestapo which will fire you for not using someone's pronouns.
CA as a whole voted 66% against Trump, and 66% against a proposition meant to control the crime wave created by Prop 47.
There are red areas here and there but this state is a goner, and Bay Area is definitely NOT MAGA territory.
As for the rest of the state, ballot harvesting has been legal here for a while. The 2018 elections here were no more honest than this year's. Before then, we passed Prop 8. I'm not saying it's exactly Wyoming here, but it isn't 100% Berserkley, either. i just mean to say that there are pockets of sanity, even in the blue counties.
Facts don't care about your feelings. We've had an increase in pro-Trump rallies in Bay Area, and I could send you similar photos to your dad's. A few people on a bridge here and there. An occasional rally. It doesn't change reality - this is not MAGA territory.
Also, CA voters just rejected, 2 to 1 (same ratio as voted against Trump), a prop that was supposed to undo Prop 47, which has been creating rampant crime for 6 years. Now we're releasing violent felons into the streets because "Covid in prison".
I used to think this state was salvageable until 2020. It's not.
