They need a sample size of at least a thousand or more. I personally tend to add an order of magnitude to be sure. If they do things right that shouldn't be a problem. The system should be gears for that already as part of the standard counting process.

Yeah he had 6 weeks to shift things behind the curtain and he did. Remember the UPS truck that loaded plenty of packages from the SoS warehouse weeks ago? Where it was obvious something illegal was going on. That was already suspicious and they likely distributed ballots and material for clean up and optimization in case of an audit. Would not be surprised if they were so brazen and put the work in to edit and fix hundreds of thousand if not millions of ballots behind the scene. Six weeks and a few dozen dedicated people is enough to pull something insane like that off. Anybody thinking this is borderline: You would be surprised to what extend people are willing to go.
It doesn't matter if they're the ones picking the sample. They rigged the last two recounts that weren't really recounts and its looking like the exact same with this so they can say the audit was completed and nothing changed, or knowing them they'll claim that this audit they want no oversight of and done by themselves will actually show Trump lost even more votes so the fact checkers and headlines can parrot it, but anyone who was paying attention knows it was and will be BS.
This is the process I said to undertake a few months back as I'm a specialist in building self service machines, etc including sports betting machines and for fuck sake when people here bet they set the terms so the house always wins I know so man don't bet on an election that's going to be all whack and you know that so they can settle it all kinds of ways.
My expertise includes both development and exploitation of competitive systems. It also includes digital forensics. For example, ten years ago a friend crashed his car with the camera running and it also crashed the computer, leaving an incomplete mpeg that wouldn't play. He was like can you look at this and I spent a few seconds downloading a hex editor, then a couple minutes staring and then fixed the file.
You should have seen his face. It's the face of someone who sees someone do something miraculous out of something like Numbers in front of them for real. The face of someone seeing a miracle. He was gawping not sure whether to be embarrassed at me revealing the footage of his bad driving or amazed at my fluent hacking.
Anyway my concern now is that this process is BASIC. They should have done it from the start. They should have done it with COVID. I'm not even a data scientist and I'm at a loss as to why the basics take so long.
Random selection which must have the hostile party closely observing at all points and the defending party as well is basic and should have been done from the start.
It needs to be done but their delaying weakens it if it doesn't find what they expect because there's plenty of time past to fix everything.
Random selection is like Benfords. You do it because it's quick and easy. It doesn't tell you if their isn't fraud but it's so cheap and relatively hard to avoid it's the first thing you do.
After that you need to do something similar but contact voters and ask what they voted for (processes for detecting everything fraudwise, deleted ballots, extra, edited, cross state, etc). Even that wont detect everything. Lets say they used a database to vote for someone who they were certain would vote Biden but never got around. They contact that person and they're like sure yes I did.
Also it wont detect things like facebook spending five times more in democrat strongholds basically paying to win. They also hire people like me except who will do anything for a payout including betray democracy and are usually far more gifted.
We need to encourage these audits but don't assume if they find nothing there's nothing to find. Plenty of time has gone by to backfill, etc. Every error we've picked up they can as fast and fix it plus often if they know how they cheated then they know straight away how to balance the books.
The delay means they could have done this secretly a day before, day before that, day before that, then correct, etc each time fixing what gets detected until it passes and I'm sceptical of security of hard copies, records, etc. Part of specialisation in this area of security is also knowing how to do fraud and get away with it. A lot of it is just cat an mouse staying ahead so delay tactics are always a warning sign. If you say you're going to do this analysis and see what it turns up they're going to want to do the same first and see what it turns up. I saw it would come to this immediately from the start and they'll have people on their side who saw that too and already did it.
Realistically it might not be easy. The best thing will end up being tiring them out pursuing every possible angle. Sooner or later they'll miss something. Right now they're trying to "protect the result" but they can't keep it up for ever they're desperate for relief. They're banking on people giving up the chase if he takes the thrown. They're desperate to try to make it appear settled for this reason. They can't take the heat. Never turn it off.
If Biden steals it lawsuits and investigations can still continue but in their mind it'll be over and they'll go on to other things. If there's no turn about before it seems too late I expect a big turn around after the fact and I don't think Biden will be quick enough to quash it all. They don't have total control despite the widespread infiltration. They're half the population so if you can just knock on two doors...
They don‘t want to do this basic stuff because they know the books are heavily cooked. So heavy its dangerous to everyone involved. Which means they rigged it by more than an statistical error of 2-3%.

Trump campaign lawyers need to be overseeing how the ballots are being selected (to prevent biased or pre-planned choices) and need to be able to scrutinize each and every ballot and have the opportunity to object over signature matching of any ballot.
This is basic fairness and transparency and is similar to what was allowed in the 2000 Bush v Gore recounts. Each side had a representative who got to object to interpretations of voter intent.

Didn’t Arizona try that with a sample of 100 ballots and 3% of them had massive errors. Enough that they forced a review of 2000 ballots, only produced 1400 ballots and then they had a 25% error rate or something like that.
