All non-essential federal employees will be on furlough (military and essential personnel will be working without pay) starting tomorrow unless Congress approves a continuing budget resolution. Might this explain why President Trump was clearing the federal employees out of DC?

No, he was clearing us out because there was a snowstorm.

This happens al the time. Nothing unusual at play.

What snowstorm? It snowed a few inches on Wednesday, melted Thursday. Chance of rain/snow on Sunday (mostly rain). Maybe more rain the end of next week. This has nothing to do with a snowstorm.

I don't doubt people were released Wednesday and maybe Thursday. I'm not talking about that. I'm referring to the President clearing people out through the end of the year.

BTW, I'm praying, for both our sakes, that this furlough is ended before we miss a paycheck.
