Hello to all this may concern,

Im a 40 year old man in Colorado. I have 2 kids and a large extended family locally. I was a Boy Scout all through my youth and received my Eagle Scout rank. I didn't go to the military as Id planed after high school. I got myself in trouble in my 30s and ended up with felonies. (sorry for backstory)

Is it worth it to try to contact my local militia to see if I can be of service? Im not eligible to own a gun anymore, and that seems to be a solid deal breaker. Just so its said I never had any legal trouble before or after this happened, and I truly believe Im a changed man. I know this isn't a well written letter, but it is from the heart.

Signed, A Patriot with Questions

Just think: not everyone in the army is on the frontline, firing at the enemy. Any kind of experience you can bring to the table is crucial. Do you have supply/logistics training? Can you reload shells? Can you efficiently cook for large groups? Can you run comms? Can you drive a semi? Are you good with engines? Can you conduct recon/ intel?

When you get in touch, tell them that. Brush up on how to scavenge food and how to set up field kitchens and chow halls. Locate slaughterhouse, packing, distribution and warehouse facilities so you can have access to their stores.

I fully appreciate you. Just sent email to my local militia. I guess I needed some reassurance I could be of use to these communities.

Good luck. Remember: a militia is like any military--you start at the bottom, prove your worth and be an honorable man of your word, and work your way up.
