And I also looked back on the past as being an era where people had more sanity and common sense. I'm still sure that was the case, but it doesn't seem like you people are actually trying to recreate that. I make a thread here calling for you guys to remember one of the biggest reasons why we don't like SJW ideology and wokeness to begin with and that is the lack of checks on false accusations. Meanwhile, the tremendous lack of respect shown by the majority of responses here just proves to me that y'all are spiraling downward into the same purity testing and witch hunting that could potentially harm innocent people that the left has been guilty of. And I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't get a whole lot worse if y'all actually had the same power that the left does.
Thus why I say it was naive of me to think that y'all were better than them. I still support a lot of socially conservative beliefs like family values and hope one day we return to the sanity and common sense of the old world but being actively engaged with the political right was clearly a mistake because that's not what you guys are actually doing no matter what you say. I hope you guys felt like badasses with those comments you made because you just lost a supporter and quite frankly, you need every person you can get.
