The thing is, the left going crazy and nuts didn't just magically happen one day. It's happening because we are financing it. The Fed destroys market accountability as it finances the government (at abnormally low interest rates). Those teachers who teach garbage in our universities, and now garbage to our kids: you can't fire them. No matter how stupid and incompetent they are, unlike the market, you can't just say I want to withdraw doing business with you. Our taxes are forced to pay for them anyhow. Those rogue judges, rogue FBI agents, rouge election officials, politicians too, nobody in government has any market accountability. You can't say, I just want to stop doing business with you! They are literally growing out of control like a cancer, and the Fed is the food that feeds them.
If you went into a store, and sitting there were 10 tons of pairs, but only 3 dozen apples. Most people would immediately realize that the store would probably be charging a premium for the apples, and be trying to give away the pears at a massive discount. Of course, anybody can see that, but when you have an economy with tens and millions of services. People need to understand that an economy is not just about having a bunch of money slosh around, but about letting the market efficiently allocate scarce resources. How can you possibly have clear communication signals, when the Fed is constantly financing bubbles and government at abnormally low interest rates? While they can effectively print up and loan out an infinite amount of money, that doesn't mean that there is an infinite amount of scarce resources. One way or another, in order for the markets to work we need to go back to commodity money, and money that is not controlled by central banks. AOC says she is against the wars in the Middle East, but ironically people like her are the cause of them. The more we ruin our money via Fed financing, the more we need to jump into bed with countries like Saudi Arabia to prop up US dollar value as the central bank waters it down.
Even worse is the regulatory abuse. Rather than use regulations to protect people, the left wants to use them to play favorites in the market, especially when it comes to using environmental regulations to put the US at a competitive disadvantage. But in truth, the problem is in every industry. Regulations are being used to limit competition and drive up profit margins for large industry players and campaign contributors. Who is financing all these regulators who have no market accountability? Again, we are via the Fed.
I've been making the argument that the Left's "Forgive Student Loans" should be countered by "Student Loans should always be fundamentally countersigned by the school involved."
It's a sort of different front of the same precise issue - no accountability.
