The Rubicon is a small river in northern Italy. When Caesar crossed it with his troops in 49 BC, it resulted in a civil war.

Are you saying I should search to see if someone else has already provided this info before I decide to provide it myself?

I haven't run in to an explanation yet, and considering that people post things over and over like the Pentagon suspending briefings and Trump's 3:30 meeting today, I'm sure it's okay if someone else has already provided the definition of the Rubicon before me.

I doubt its happened much.

Thanks. I still would've shared the info I did since I linked to an article that some will probably enjoy reading. The phrase has a much fuller meaning for me since reading that article.
